The wait is over. The UP Board (UPMSP) has released the UP Board exam 2027 date sheet for Class 10 (High School) and Class 12 (Intermediate). Papers run from 5 February to 24 February 2027, which gives you roughly 15 weeks from today. That is enough time to finish well — if you start planning this week instead of "from next Monday".

This guide puts the key dates in one place and turns them into a simple week-by-week plan you can actually follow.

UP Board 2027 time table: the key facts

According to CareerIndia's report on the release, the schedule was announced by UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh, and both classes start with Hindi on 5 February.

Detail Class 10 (High School) Class 12 (Intermediate)
Exam window 5–24 Feb 2027 5–24 Feb 2027
Shift Morning, 8:30 am – 11:45 am Afternoon, 2:00 pm – 5:15 pm
Reading time First 15 minutes First 15 minutes
First paper Hindi / Elementary Hindi (5 Feb) Hindi / General Hindi (5 Feb)
Last paper Agriculture (24 Feb) Computer, Sanskrit (24 Feb)

The official notice is on the board's website as a PDF (TimeTable 2027 Vigyapti, linked by Organiser). Always match your subject codes against that PDF, not a screenshot on WhatsApp.

Class 10 dates for the main subjects

From CollegeDekho's subject-wise table:

  • Hindi / Elementary Hindi – 5 Feb
  • Social Science – 8 Feb
  • English – 10 Feb
  • Mathematics – 13 Feb
  • Sanskrit – 15 Feb
  • Science – 17 Feb
  • Computer – 18 Feb

Class 12 dates for the main subjects

  • Hindi / General Hindi – 5 Feb
  • English – 8 Feb
  • Civics – 9 Feb · History – 10 Feb
  • Biology and Mathematics – 12 Feb
  • Economics – 13 Feb
  • Chemistry – 15 Feb · Geography – 16 Feb
  • Physics – 17 Feb
  • Business Studies – 22 Feb · Accountancy – 23 Feb
  • Computer, Sanskrit – 24 Feb

Notice the gaps. Science-stream students get two days between Maths/Biology (12 Feb) and Chemistry (15 Feb), and then Physics follows two days later on 17 Feb. Commerce students have three big papers clustered at the end. Your plan should be built around your gaps, not your friend's.

What about practicals?

The board's theory timetable does not cover practicals. KollegeApply reports, citing the 2026-27 academic calendar, that Class 12 practicals are expected between 27 January and 10 February 2027 in two phases by division, with pre-board practicals from 11 January. Treat these as expected dates until UPMSP issues a separate practical notice — but do keep your practical file work finished by early January.

Your 15-week plan (21 October – 4 February)

Weeks 1–6 (now to 30 November): finish and fix

  • Finish the syllabus first. List every chapter per subject and mark it ✅ done, 🟡 half-done or ❌ not started. Work on ❌ chapters in the mornings when your mind is fresh.
  • Make one-page notes per chapter. Formulas, definitions, dates, diagrams. These pages are what you will revise in February — not the whole textbook.
  • Two subjects a day, one hard and one easy. For example, Physics + Hindi, or Accountancy + English. This keeps you moving without burning out.

Weeks 7–11 (1 December – 10 January): practise like the real paper

  • Solve the official model papers and previous years' papers. Start with chapter-wise questions, then move to full papers.
  • One full timed paper every three days. Class 10 students should practise in the morning (8:30 start); Class 12 in the afternoon (2:00 start). Your brain gets used to working at that hour.
  • Keep a "mistake notebook". Every wrong answer goes in with the correct method. Read it every Sunday.

Weeks 12–15 (11 January – 4 February): pre-boards, practicals and polish

  • Treat pre-boards as a dress rehearsal, not a verdict. Check where you lost marks: concept, calculation, or time.
  • Finish practical files and viva preparation before your practical date.
  • Revise from your one-page notes and mistake notebook only. No new reference books now.

Paper-to-paper strategy during the exams (5–24 February)

  1. Use the gap days well. If you have two days before a paper, spend day one on notes and the mistake notebook, and day two on one timed paper plus light revision.
  2. Use the 15 minutes of reading time. Mark the questions you are sure of, then plan your order. Start with confident answers to build momentum.
  3. Sleep 7–8 hours. The morning shift begins at 8:30 am. Late-night cramming before a morning paper usually costs more marks than it earns.
  4. Reach early. Reports advise arriving well before the reporting time printed on your admit card.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Waiting for "perfect" notes. Rough notes you revise beat beautiful notes you never finish.
  • Only reading, never writing. Board exams reward written answers. Write at least one long answer per subject every day.
  • Ignoring Hindi and English. They come first (5 Feb, and 8 or 10 Feb). A strong start sets your confidence for the rest.
  • Trusting fake date sheets. If a "new" timetable appears on social media, check upmsp.edu.in before you change anything.

How SeekhoSmart helps with UP Board 2027 revision

Your plan has two hard parts: practising the right questions chapter by chapter, and sticking to it every day for 15 weeks. That's where SeekhoSmart fits in. Its 10-year PYQ bank is tagged by chapter, so when you finish a chapter in weeks 1–6 you can immediately practise the questions that have actually been asked on it. The adaptive daily study plan builds your next day's work around what you got wrong, so your weak chapters get attention before February. And every answer comes with an AI explanation — including the wrong ones — which makes your mistake notebook much faster to fill. Switch between Hindi and English as you like. It's NCERT-aligned and free to start.
